Ever since childhood I’ve been able to see the glass half full. I spent my time running around the farm, soaking up nature, writing on the school newspaper, and seeing the best in all things. Whether it is my way of dealing with the world, or simply my gift, I continue to embrace it my positivity in all things.
My family saw that gift, but encouraged me to be “practical.” As a result I studied finance and marketing in college. Never shying away from hard work I also pursued a minor in psychology, based on my passion for helping others. I went on to receive an MBA in Information Systems, but continued to celebrate the softer side as well. I believe it is this ability to balance logic and intuition that serves me in my life and work.
I’ve always relished the opportunities in life, and have had the willingness to try new things. Around the time I became pregnant with my first child I started managing the internal operations of my brother’s business, and I’ve seen both grow immensely since 2005. After a lifetime of encouragement by my father to do yoga when feeling stressed or overwhelmed I embraced it as a personal practice during my pregnancy. Instead of pushing myself so hard I deeply engaged in my health and wellness through my yoga journey. While I’m no longer married to the father of my two beautiful children we live a mile away from one another, and I value the support we provide to one another, and to them.
I trust my spirit, and go where it calls me. This allows me to balance my roles as a COO, yoga teacher for children, published author and public speaker, among other things. I subscribe to Ayurveda, run, practice yoga, and deepen my spirituality in all things. And I incorporate these interests and abilities into Zendoway and my coaching practice.
As a coach I embrace my intuition, unique skill set, energy, enthusiasm and perspective. We work in partnership to honor where you are, while also helping you get where you’re going. I provide small, realistic actions in order to maximize your potential to change. We evaluate your situation, and pursue mindset alternatives. We harness the opportunities present in your life in a way that serves you.
At the age of 40 I really began to feed my body and soul. Zendoway is an outlet to share my spirit, and the knowledge I’ve accumulated along my journey. I provide one on one personal coaching, corporate coaching and training, speaking engagements, and a plethora of resources, activities and articles. Zendoway has grown organically by word of mouth, and it seems that those who benefit from my services simply appear. Perhaps that’s why you’ve been drawn here as well.
